We are a foundation born from a husband's love and a family's fight — transforming cancer care through advocacy, ethical communication, and compassionate support for every family facing this journey.

GEO Cancer Foundation was born from profound grief and frustration. When my late wife, Grace Edeghonghon Omolemen, was diagnosed with cancer, our family entered a system that was anything but caring. Grace passed away on July 4, 2022, and her journey exposed failures no family should have to endure.
We encountered medical professionals who prioritised profit over patient well-being. We struggled with communication that was neither accessible nor available when emergencies arose. And we were given false hope instead of the honest, transparent conversations we needed to make informed decisions about treatment and prognosis.
Those experiences revealed three urgent gaps in cancer care:
Ultimately, the foundation was founded to ensure that other families facing the trauma of cancer do not have to endure the same isolation, exploitation, and confusion that defined my own experience.

“A future where women understand cancer better, get help earlier, and feel supported and hopeful.”
Inspired by the memory of Grace Edeghonghon Omolemen, the GEO Cancer Foundation is dedicated to transforming the cancer care experience by championing patient-centered advocacy, fostering transparent and ethical communication, and providing compassionate support to ensure no family faces the journey of cancer with confusion, exploitation, or isolation.
Trust isn't given automatically; it must be earned every day through our actions, our stewardship of donations, and the way we treat every family who comes to us for support.
We champion patient-centered care where well-being comes before profit. Every medical interaction we facilitate prioritises the dignity and health of the patient.
We ensure communication is accessible and support is available when families need it most. We hold ourselves to the same standard of responsiveness we demand from the system.
We replace false hope with transparent, compassionate communication. Every family deserves to understand their situation clearly and be supported through it with dignity.
We cannot do this alone. Join our community of supporters and help us bring advocacy, ethical care, and compassionate support to families facing cancer.
